Westfund Health Insurance partner with GWS GIANTS

We’re excited to welcome the GWS GIANTS to our partnership family. Westfund are the club’s official health insurance partner across their AFL, AFLW and Academy programs.

Through this partnership, we will become the coaches partner for the GIANTS Academy with our logo featuring on the relevant polo and training shirts as well as the Academy match balls.

We will also present the Rehabilitation Report which will appear on gwsgiants.com.au every week during the AFL season.
Our Executive Manager – Operations, Chris Phillips, said they’re excited to be on board as the official health insurance partner of the GIANTS.

“Partnering with the GIANTS is a great opportunity for Westfund as we look to further engage with our members and to establish stronger relationships with the communities across Western Sydney,” said Westfund Executive Manager – Operations, Chris Phillips.

The GIANTS’ approach to health and community is strongly aligned with our commitment to fostering healthier members and communities as we continue to increase awareness of our business and to show we are more than just a health insurer.

“We are particularly excited about establishing a relationship with the GIANTS Academy and in recognising and supporting the development of young people, particularly those from regional and rural areas,” he said.

GIANTS Chief Executive David Matthews has welcomed the partnership.

“We’re delighted to have Westfund partner with the GIANTS across so many different areas of the club,” Mr Matthews said.

“As a club we seek to partner with organisations that align with our purpose and with a strong
focus on health, families and the community at the forefront of everything the GIANTS and Westfund do, it’s an ideal partnership.

“Like the GIANTS, Westfund is looking to continue to grow in the years to come and we’re excited to be on this journey together.”

“We are particularly excited about establishing a relationship with the GIANTS Academy and in recognising and supporting the development of young people, particularly those from regional and rural areas,” he said.
