Update to Westfund members regarding Healthscope hospitals

Westfund members remain fully covered at Healthscope hospitals until 4 March 2025.

Westfund members may be aware that Healthscope have advised multiple private health insurers, including Westfund, that they will be terminating our agreement as of 4 March 2025.

We want to assure members that they remain fully covered at Healthscope hospitals until 4 March 2025.

Westfund members who go to a Healthscope hospital before this date will not be impacted.

We apologise for any confusion this decision by Healthscope may have caused. We regret that Healthscope are involving our members in a formal dispute between Healthscope and the AHSA (an organisation who negotiate hospital contracts on Westfund's behalf).

We're continuing our negotiations with Healthscope and remain committed to seeking the best outcomes for our members.

As a not-for-profit, member-owned health fund, we'll always advocate for our members and their fair access to timely and quality healthcare.
