Westfund Health Insurance joins forces with the Lithgow Show

Lithgow, NSW – The Lithgow community is set to reap the benefits of a new partnership between two of the region’s most well-known brands – Westfund Health Insurance and the Lithgow Show.

Westfund have come on board as principal sponsors of the event, with ‘Westfund’s Lithgow Show’ due to kick off on Friday 18 March for 2022.

“We’re excited to work with the Lithgow Show Society to reinvigorate Westfund’s Lithgow Show and ensure it remains a cornerstone of the Lithgow community for years to come,” said Westfund CEO Mark Genovese.

“Agricultural shows are at the heart of regional communities and we all deserve an opportunity to come together and celebrate after the challenges of the last two years.” 

“2022 is the first event in our three year partnership and we’ve got some exciting plans to bring even more to the show in the coming years,” he said.

Westfund will also be sponsoring the newly named ‘Westfund Farmers Challenge’ a competition for local school children to test their outdoor and farming skills.

The partnership with Westfund has been warmly welcomed by Lithgow Show Society members.

“Having Westfund’s support means we can bring more events and attractions to the show program, meaning a better experience for the Lithgow community,” said Show Society Secretary Vanetta Renshaw.

“We’re focussed on reinvigorating the show and with Westfund’s support, we can now make that possible. The community can expect to see all the crowd favourites plus for the first time ever experiences like The Harrington Circus Show and even an ice skating rink.”

Westfund’s Lithgow Show 2022 will be held on Friday 18 (2pm – 10pm) and Saturday 19 (10am – 10pm) of March 2022.
