Westfund Health Insurance: Supporting the Lithgow Community
Lithgow, NSW - Westfund Health Insurance recognises the challenges its members face when it comes to accessing quality healthcare services. As a member-owned, not-for-profit health fund, Westfund is committed to evolving its health and wellbeing services to further support regional communities.
Recently, Lithgow Community Private Hospital announced it will cease operation at the end of this year.
“We are disappointed to hear of the hospitals pending closure, as it adds to the existing challenges regional communities have in accessing health-related services,” said Westfund CEO, Mark Genovese.
That’s why Westfund intends to reach out to Lithgow Community Private Hospital to offer support to help minimise the impact of the closure on its members in the broader community.
Any updates on the support Westfund will provide will be announced on Westfund’s Facebook page and on the Newsroom website page.
