Westfund short-listed for prestigious customer service awards
Westfund Health Insurance has been recognised for its commitment to member care by being short-listed in two categories of the Australian Service Excellence Awards (ASEAs).
The Australian Services Excellence Awards (ASEAs) are Australia’s premier customer service awards program. They attract hundreds of nominations each year to recognise best practice, performance and innovation in customer service.
The awards are conducted by the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA).
Westfund is a finalist in two categories:
- Customer Service Organisation of the Year – Medium Business, and
- Service Excellence in a Medium Contact Centre.
“As a member-owned health fund, our people go above and beyond to look after our members,” said Jon Goodgame, Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Westfund.
“It feels good to receive recognition like the CSIA awards, but the real reward for us lies in helping our members when they need us,” he said.
“I’m always thrilled to hear how our Member Care team not only take the time to help our members understand the role of their health insurance, but invest the time to assist members navigate their health journey and return to good health.”
The ASEAs are in their 21st year and with just three finalists announced in each category, Westfund is in good company.
Winners of the Customer Service Organisation of the Year – Medium Business and the Service Excellence in a Medium Contact Centre will be announced in October, and employees across Westfund’s network will participate in site visits and interviews to facilitate the second round of judging.
